For schools & trusts

Bought for a department. Used by every teacher in it.

GradeDrive is the kind of tool a school or a multi-academy trust buys for a department. It is also open to any teacher who wants to use it on their own. This page is for whoever has to make the case to someone else.

Two ways in. The same product either way.

Nothing is held back from the teacher who signs up alone. The difference is who pays and who administers it.

A school or a trust buys it for a department
The way this kind of tool is normally bought. Someone in the school pays once, we set up an organisation for the department, and every teacher in it marks against an allowance the manager controls. This could either be a shared pool everyone draws from, or an individual allocation per teacher. If you're a trust which has multiple schools then reach out to us to help setup the admin functionality appropriately.
A teacher signs up on their own
The same product, no organisation, no manager. A free allowance that does not expire, and a paid plan if you run out.

Real department feedback.

As an AHT, reducing teacher workload without compromising standards is always a priority. GradeDrive has genuinely transformed how our biology department handles mock marking. What used to take an entire weekend now takes a few hours. The AI's understanding of mark scheme language is impressive. It picks up on required terminology and partial credit correctly.

Getting every teacher in my department to mark consistently has always been a challenge. GradeDrive has essentially solved that. Every paper is assessed against the same mark scheme interpretation, so students aren't disadvantaged by which teacher marked their work. Our post-marking moderation time has dropped dramatically.
